Rosneath Castle Park is a loch-side holiday park near Helensburgh in Argyll on Scotland’s West Coast, a great base for discovering Loch Lomond and the Highlands and Islands, and just an hour’s drive from Glasgow.
Our wide range of superb static caravans are the perfect choice for a relaxing self-catering break on the banks of The Gareloch, from where you can explore nearby Loch Lomond and the copper-coloured hills of Argyll – our surrounding scenery is some of Scotland’s most spectacular.
Rosneath is a quiet and peaceful retreat with a five-star Thistle rating from the Scottish Tourist Board, and our loch-side setting means we can offer our own sailing school during the summer months.
Trails from Rosneath lead through deer filled woods and climb braes that overlook lochs and the Firth of Clyde. The local area crackles with history, from Wallace’s Loup at the park entrance, where the Scottish Braveheart leapt from a cliff to escape the English army, to the cave and prison of 18th century hero Rob Roy.
Local highlights include Inverary Castle & Gardens, the world’s only sea-going paddle steamer, whisky tours and restaurants serving wonderful seasonal food.
After a day conquering the waters, exploring our surroundings or enjoying the local attractions, you’ll find a tasty meal and drinks served up in our bar and restaurant, and live entertainment taking place on many evenings.
You can stay with us on a self-catering holiday in one of our high quality holiday homes, buy your own holiday home, or become a permanent resident with one of our residential park homes.
So whether you are here to unwind the main sail or to chill out at the water’s edge, at Rosneath Castle your expectations can never be set too high.
