Product Description

Our 3-star  English-run campsite is located in southern Brittany, an hour and a half away from Roscoff.

Our aim is to offer every camper a warm personal welcome and a spacious pitch in natural surroundings. Whether you have a tent, caravan or motorhome, we have a generous mix of shaded and sunny pitches, several in our secluded wooded area or adjacent to a gentle bubbling stream.  Maybe you would prefer to rent one of our cosy glamping pods or our family canvas tent lodge.

Guests are invited to wander in the surrounding woodlands, or sit and relax in our garden with a chilled beer,  glass of wine or a fine Breton cider. For the more energetic, we are situated on the Nantes-Brest canal, and near the GR34 coastal footpath, perfect for cyclist and hikers.

Nearby Châteaulin, at the gateway to the stunning peninsula of Crozon, is a pretty Breton town on the edge of the Aulne (the Nantes-Brest Canal), a river renowned for salmon fishing. Access opposite the entrance of the campsite leads directly to the canal path, where you can go on foot or by bike into town to enjoy its lively culture of shops, bars, restaurants and a weekly market. In summer, Châteaulin has an array of cultural events i.e. folk festivals, fetes and entertainment for you to enjoy.

Thanks to its location in the heart of Finistère, La Pointe Camping is ideally located to explore this region – one of the most beautiful and historic in France, and enjoy the regional ‘parc naturel’ of Armorique.

Brittany has more coastline than any other region in France and the peninsula of Crozon is particularly beautiful and varied. If you’re looking for beaches, you’ll be spoiled for choice and even in August, these beautiful Breton sandy bays and small rocky coves are rarely busy. The nearest beach is just a 15-minute drive away from La Pointe Camping.
