Church Stile Farm Holiday Park is a family business which has been in the Knight family for many generations, it is located in the Western Lake District valley of Wasdale in Cumbria.
The camp site is set in a woodland clearing with spectacular views looking onto the Screes mountain range it is well situated in the pretty Lakeland village of Nether Wasdale.
The holiday park is easy to find and surrounded by some of the best of Cumbrian scenery.
An ideal area for walking, climbing or just enjoying the unspoiled Western lakes and taking in the spectacular scenery.
Wastwater, a little over a mile away, it is the deepest lake in England and an excellent view point of Great Gable and the awesome Scafell range (along with the deepest lake in England, the Scafell range offers Scafell Pike which is the highest mountain in England!).
FACILITIES INCLUDE:
A large level camping ground complete with a play area for Children, mains water, electric hook-ups (these must be pre-booked), car parking by your tent and a fully fitted clean shower block with laundry and disabled facilities. There is a quiet area at the edge of the woodland for those of you wanting a more tranquil stay.

There is also a children’s play area, a separate flat grassed area for football and other ball games and picnic tables. The site office can provide local information.
Church Stile Holiday Park is aimed at families, couples and walkers. As such we are a secure camping ground and the main gate is locked at night, however the side footgate is always open and late parking is available by the site entrance.
LOCAL AREA INTREST
Wasdale valley is in the Western Lake District yet near to the West coast of Cumbria giving a huge variety of activities and events for everyone. The village of Nether Wasdale has two Country inns offering a warm welcome to campers. There are excellent varied menus, real ale and beer gradens. Children are also catered for. Tea, coffee and cold drinks are available throughout the day.
The hotel at the top of the village serves evening dinners for those special occasions.
