Off the south coast of Ireland you will find Cape Clear Island, a small land form nestled amongst the lapping waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Fortunately for those that want to get away and relax, Sally and Dave have set up four Beautiful Mongolian Yurts and modern Tipis, situated on a small campsite overlooking South Harbour and the Atlantic. Book a Yurt and you will wake up to the sound of waves dancing against the rocks below, open your door and feast your eyes on the glittering waters and the excitement of visiting Basking sharks in spring.
If you don’t want to just kick back and drift off with the sounds of nature, there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied; kayaking, archery, snorkeling, diving, whale watching on numerous boat trips and lots of casual walks around the island. Cape Clear is famous for its’ bird watching, as migrating birds land here to get their first well deserved rest, so why not join them and stay in a fully equipped Yurt with the comfort of a real bed…go on, you deserve it. One word of warning though, once you are there, it is hard to leave!
