Braewick Caravan Park, was established in 2006 by Christina and Magnus Nicolson and is located in one of the most dramatic landscapes in Shetland. The views from the Braewick Cafe, Campsite and Craft Shop, towards the famous sea stacks, ‘the Drongs’, is simply outstanding. Add to that, our menu of fresh, local produce – much of which is sourced from our working croft, a range of local crafts, knitwear and gifts, a fully serviced camping and caravan site and you have everything you need for the perfect holiday in Eshaness.
CAMPING PODS MADE BY WIGWAMS
There are 4 camping pods, made by Wigwams, with heater, kettle and a fridge.
Each sleeps 4 adults or a family of 6.
CAMPING AND CARAVANNING
Overlooking the shore of Braewick Bay, our fully equipped site accommodates tents and up to 10 caravans. We make camping simple and convenient by providing full toilet, shower and laundry facilities with water and electric hook-up.
BRAEWICK CAFE/RESTAURANT
Chef Toby Smedley sources only the very best local ingredients, much of which is from our working croft.
In the evenings he creates an a la carte menu for booked guests and in the daytime he serves fresh, hot and cold, savoury and sweet, snacks.
The exception is Sunday when a special lunch menu is available for booking.
CRAFT SHOP AND LOCAL GALLERY
A range of local crafts, knitwear and gifts are available to buy and our small gallery space houses local artists.
THE CROFT
Located on a working croft we rear our own pigs, sheep and cows.
