Akebar Park is situated near Leyburn, North Yorkshire, visitors can leave urban life behind; they are without night clubs and fast food bars. They offer a natural environment of peace and tranquility, which has been greatly enriched by the more than abundant blessings of nature, history and ancient settlements. Wensleydale offers many activities such as fishing, walking and golf. The Caravan Park also offers petanque, croquet and boules, as well as their traditional pub situated at the entrance to the Park.
CAMPING,CARAVANNING,MOTORHOMES:
They welcome Tourers, Trailer Tents, Motor Homes and Tents and are a 10-month Holiday Park, open from 1st March to 1st January. The same rates apply all season except at Bank Holidays. They also operate a minimum 3-night stay policy for Bank Holidays and 2-night minimum stay in the school holidays.
SEASONAL PITCHES:
Seasonal Tourer Pitches are available.
They also have fabulous holiday homes and chalets For Sale throughout the year.
HOLIDAY HOMES HOLIDAY LODGES:
Akebar is open for ten months of the year from March through to 1st January, for holiday home owners, like the seasons, to come and go as they please.
Well placed on premium pitches, the holiday homes overlook their superb golf courses. Second-user holiday homes and chalets are occasionally available.

RESTAURANT & PUB:
They offer a large, south facing, tropical cloister with vines and masses of lushly growing plants, amongst which guests eat by candlelight in the most romantic dining room in the Dales.
Their food is freshly cooked to order, using delicious local produce in season and they are open for lunch and dinner 7 days each week.
GOLF:
Akebar Park offers a fantastic golfing complex. Available to guests, or to the public, Akebar Golf Complex is suited to all your golfing needs. Whether you are starting out, or fancy taking up a round of golf, you will find the Driving Range and Practice Area very helpful. The more experienced can enjoy a leisurely round on the 9-hole Academy Course, or even attempting the 18-hole, 4,700 yards course.
