Riverside is a beautifully appointed holiday park, meandering along both banks of the Wooler Water and its own private fishing lake.
Surrounded by 80 acres of woodland and set right on the edge of the Northumbrian National Park, Riverside Country Park is perfect for those who enjoy fell walking, fishing, horse-riding, touring, exploring and relaxing.

There are 54 pitches with 16 amps mains hook-up. Most pitches are on grass but there are 28 hard-standing. The average pitch size is 12m x 4m.

Sorry, but there isn’t a dedicated motor home service point. Most motor homes can be accommodated on the pitches with the exception of the very largest US-style motor homes.

There are also three eco camping pods for hire

The nearest bus stop is 300 yards from park entrance.

Dogs are allowed and must be kept on a lead.

Tariff is per night and includes two people with one car, and tent, caravan or motorhome pitch with mains electric hook-up.

Nice site but the amenities let it down badly. Waste bin area was full., some road noise if pitched on that side of the site. A five minute walk into Wooler village, will not be back unless a new toilet / shower block is built!!

Tourer: Just returned from riverside and was disgusted with amenities block. Had to queue for one of 3 toilets then queue for one of 3 showers. Caravans and tents packed in like sardines thersfore 3 of each amenity is atrocious. Had to try and lift waste water container onto a metre high wall to empty. Impossible for elderly or handicapped. Rubbish bins were overflowing when we arrived and got worse as weekend finished.Site itself was clean but the amenities let it down very badly. Will not be back.
