Bingham Grange is an adults only quiet, peaceful park developed within the grounds of a former country farm. The setting is idyllic with olde-worlde barns and cottages full of charm and history. Located within West Dorset’s area of outstanding natural beauty, and being only 5 miles from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast we offer an ideal base to ‘set up camp’ and live amidst the breathtaking scenery for which this part of Britain is internationally renowned.
We cater exclusively for adults and provide a quiet haven for those wishing to get away from it all and experience a taste of what life was like in the ‘Rural Dorset’ of yesteryear.
The park caters for Touring Caravans, Tents, Motorhomes and Trailer-tents. There is a choice of grass or hardstanding pitches, all with electric hook-up at 10 amps. We have an ever increasing number of fully serviced pitches which offer electric hook-up, water and waste. All sizes of caravan and motorhome can be accommodated. Many of the pitches enjoy direct views over the glorious West Dorset countryside that surrounds us.
THE BUZZARD BAR
Located on the top floor of the honey stone former hay barn (which dates from the early 1800’s) is Bingham’s very own cosy Lounge Bar and Restaurant complete with original exposed beams and interesting vaulted ceilings and often featuring stunning views of sunsets over the Brit Valley! This is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring the area. You will of course find a wide selection of delicious main meals, skilfully created by our talented resident chef, but, whatever you do, don’t go home without trying one of his beautifully hand crafted desserts as well!
We’re very proud to have been given a number of awards including a ‘Loo of the Year’ title every year for more than 4 years. Our 5 star private facilities boast underfloor heating, individual private shower rooms complete with w.c. and wash hand basin, alongside traditional separate ladies and gents showers and toilets, complemented by a disabled shower area and w.c. installation.
Our Laundry room offers washing and drying machines and a kitchenette complete with washing up facilities, microwave and a freezer for ice packs.
Dogs are welcome to enjoy the park’s own woodland dog walk and even have a paddle in the River Brit located on the edge of our land. Beyond the woodland walk is access to a network of public footpaths each leading to picturesque villages or the small market town of Bridport with traditional shops, cafes and twice weekly street markets (Wednesdays and Saturdays) for curios as well as domestic essentials.
From the South: Take the A35 to Bridport and follow directions to Beaminster via the A3066. After approx 2.5 miles the entrance to the park can be seen on the left-hand side.
From the North: At Beaminster follow signs for Bridport on the A3066. Pass through the village of Melplash. After approx 0.5 mile the entrance to the park can be seen on the right-hand side.
