Set in National Trust woodland, Kendal Caravan Club Site (formerly Low Park Wood) is so peaceful you’ll not want to leave. Some will be interested to know that Low Park Wood is on the site of a 19thC gunpowder mill.

For those who enjoy the sport of fishing, the caravan site also features a river that is popular amongst anglers (with a National River Licence). When you fancy a bite to eat, the nearby market town of Kendal is famous for its mint cake and trusted for its hearty meals.
