This is a fantastic site to come to if you have young children and really want peace and quiet. The site is very small and is yet to have showers put in but we only stayed one night so was fine for us and our 2 and 4 year old. There was lots for them to do, 2 huge play parks and farm animals to see. Also at £12 pernight for a tent with 4 it was half the price of the other campsites. The people were very helpful and overall I look forward to returning and seeing how the site has developed. Only three miles from Barnard Castle I thoroughly recommend it. Also has a great coffee shop and restaurant with beautiful homemade food.
