Chy Carne Camping and Touring Park

A warm welcome to Chy Carne camping and touring park. A small relaxed family run holiday park on the Lizard peninsular overlooking Kennack Sands
A sandy beach within a designated area for outstanding natural beauty and of great scientific interest.

We welcome all Touring Caravans, Motor Homes, Tents, Camper Vans, Trailer Tents and Folding Campers of all shapes and sizes.
We have a number of designated areas away from our 2 or 3 bedroom static caravans.
We also welcome well behaved dogs and pets.
Chy Carne is a spacious well kept,clean, safe park with level camping and touring pitches.
101 electric hookups are available, spread over a large area, with each pitch a minimum of 8 to 10 metres wide and some up to 14 metres.
Many of our pitches have wonderful sea views.
We have a further 40 non-electric pitches situated over the park – most with lovely sea views overlooking Kennack Bay.
Our static caravans are situated as you enter the park, away from our touring area, and are available with either 2 or 3 bedrooms.
Our chalets have 2 bedrooms and are located centrally in the tree- lined sheltered main grounds.
Our caravans come fully equipped.
Our 2 bedroom caravans are 28ft x 10ft and sleep a maximum of 6 people.
Our spacious 3 bedroom caravans are 35ft x 12ft and sleep a maximum of 8 people and have two toilets as well as hot air heating.

We have two modern purpose built shower blocks (16 showers, 11 toilets,13 hand basins) and two washing up areas (6 sinks) situated in two separate locations so you are never far away where ever you are camped. We have a launderette with two 18lbs load commercial washing machines and two dryers.
We are a pet friendly park and welcome owners with dogs.
For the kids we have a play pirate ship and swings as well as outdoor games and a indoor arcade and of course, plenty of grassed open space for ball games etc.
At Chy Carne we have glorious sea views overlooking the bay at Kennack sands, which is a 10 minute walk away. It is mostly sandy, a safe, blue flag beach for cleanliness – one side is dog friendly too.
With many local attractions nearby Chy Carne is an ideal base to discover what Cornwall has to offer or you can just sit back, relax, enjoy a barbecue, or even a campfire in one of our chimineas or fire baskets

Why not enjoy a drink or two at our campsite bar, serving local real ales, as well as local cider, situated in our large 125 square metre marquee, which has lighting, seating and a real camping atmosphere.

Situated next to the marquee is our on-site take away or at the shop is our very own pizza take away, all at very reasonable prices… so please check us out and we look forward to meeting you in the very near future.

Chy Carne is able to offer its visitors many of the best options right on its doorstep.
From the award-winning – and more importantly, clean and safe – Kennack Sands beach less than 10 minutes walk away, to the technological marvel of Goonhilly Earth Satellite Station, only 5 minutes by car.
