Just returned home after a much needed break away at one of Cornwall’s little hidden gems. Trevair farm site is a sheltered, private site with loads of space and good facilities. Phil and Val made us most welcolm during our 7 day stay in the long barn cottage which was exceptional.
We loved it. We found the owners very friendly and helpful. Great for both coasts and recommend this site for location, facilities, cleanliness and the owners! The site is exceptionally well maintained, with good shared facilities, toilet blocks, showers and washing areas. A large central area safe for younger children to play. We found the owners to be extremely friendly and welcoming – nothing was too much trouble – Phil and Val have provided a little Cornish Haven while takng the welfare of their campers and families very serously. 5 Stars *****

Just got back from a lovely stay at this extremely sheltered site. Loads of space, good facilities – a bit old fashioned but kept clean. Owners Phil and Val are friendly and helpful, always on hand to help out, but not intrusive. As for Buster their dog, an English Bull Terrier, he is one of the most docile dogs you could meet. I think two of my boys were those mentioned in the other review, and they loved him. One even made time each day to visit him in reception to give his chin a scratch, much to Buster’s enjoyment! Would we stay here again – most definitely.

I stayed on this site for 2 weeks during august ,and what a lovely clean and friendly place. No white lines for your pitch just an area well spaced ,the couple that run it go out of their way to help you and as for their dog Buster the English bull terrier totally hilarious every time we lost our 2 kids they were up at the owner’s house playing with him . Great location for the whole of west cornwall (both coast’s)

We were here on the 4th Sept 2011 for 2 nights and loved it. We found the owners very friendly and helpful. We had hired a motorhome for the first time and needed some advice which they provided with some humour (especially when we reversed into the shrubbery when filling the water tank!!) Great location for both coasts and very clean. The owner made it very clear that Buster the dog (a very handsome ENGLISH BULL TERRIER NOT A PIT BULL!!)was not keen on other dogs and asked us to excercise our dog in the woods (which were lovely). When I was stroking Buster one day a couple of young kids came running up to him and petted him and he was absolutely docile. He is also kept on a very strong harness at all times. I would wholly recommend this site for location, facilities, cleanliness and the owners!

We stayed here for 2 weeks in august this year and what a gem of a campsite it is – just 10 minutes drive from north and south coasts. The site is exceptionally clean, well maintained, with good shared facilities, toilet blocks, showers and washing areas. Also a large central area safe for younger children to play. We found the owners to be extremely friendly and welcoming – nothing was too much trouble. Their dog also lives there, but to us non-dog owners, their dog seemed docile, well-behaved, quiet and always on a lead when outside their house; we don’t agree with the previous reviewers remarks in any way. One thing the owners are dead strict about: the rigorously enforced 5 mph vehicle speed limit on site – guess they take the safety of their campers and families very seriously.

Unit used Motoehome…….The campsite it’s self is very pleasant, being all grass pitches with no formal layout, pitches are level. There is a lovely dog walk through the woods, and is central to most of the land marks you could wish to visit. Toilet block VERY dated and could do with a lot of updating, though they are clean, washing up area and pay as you go showers (also need updating). If you have a dog TAKE CARE as their own dog is as nasty as they get when it see’s another dog (pit-bull), it take the owner all his time to hang on to it. DO NOT expect a cheerful welcome because the owners are not that way inclined, it is the worst welcome I have ever received in 35 years of camping witch is a shame as it’s a nice site.
