Trewan Hall is a unique family-run campsite in mid Cornwall between Newquay and Padstow.
Trewan Hall, a 17th century manor house, is located in the middle of Cornwall on the north coast between Newquay and Padstow, 10 minutes drive from the nearest sandy beach. The Hill family have run the campsite for over 50 years.
Couples and families appreciate the space and informal atmosphere that we have to offer. We pride ourselves on providing a safe environment for children to play and explore 36 acres of woods and grounds.
Swimming Pool
A fine large 25-metre swimming pool, adjacent to the camping area is open during the high season, and sometimes longer. Supervisors are always in attendance. It is normally covered by a dome with the option of open air during fine weather . A small charge is made for its use.
Children have swings, climbing frame, sandpit and other attractions. Several old barns are restored and adapted for table tennis, pool table and table football, or just a congenial meeting place for the young people to chat and play music. A library and writing room in the old Hall is put aside for the use of campers (WIFI is available here). An extra for the proficient is a full-sized billiard table, also in the Hall.
Entertainment
Most evenings during the holiday peak period there is entertainment at no extra charge in the Long Barn – a building we have converted into an auditorium to accommodate several different types of performance. The entertainment varies considerably and can include folk and rock music, brass bands, magician and a story teller. You will be surprised and delighted at the quality of the local talent, which we take great care in selecting to provide evening sessions of all types. This standard and variation of performance is rare on holiday sites.

26th August 2008 at 12:00 amStayed at Trewan Hall site for the August Bank Holiday weekend. Excellent Site. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shop is well stocked and the nightly local entertainment was great.
Helpful ReviewThere is a play park for the kids. Freezer for popping your own freezer packs in. Also freezer packs to borrow at a very small charge. Battery charging.Gas refills etc. Toilets and showers were clean and hot all the time which was great considering how busy the site was. Free power points for your own hairdryers and straightners.
Big bonus as the weather had been bad was a Laundrette with a drying room.
It was a bit wet but concidering Cornwall had, had its worse weather for years the ground was bad but it could have been worse.
All in all this site was great and we will definatley visit it again.
