Never saw the lady who ran the site at the reception area at any time. We had to go to the house at the top of the park. We were on a motocycle with a 2 man tent and were charged £18 for one night. Consitering the toilet and showerblock facilities, which could have been nicer this was too much. For an extra £2.50 we could have taken a 4×4, massive caravan and used as much electricity as we liked. Why have campsites stopped charging reasonable prices?
Very spacious field in a beautiful, quiet area,no noisey roads nearby. The owners were very friendly and wecoming, and I felt very at ease and welcome from the moment I arrived.
Clean and modern showers and toilets.
A short enjoyable walk down a picturesque lane led to the shore of Loch Lomond. Very good value and very relaxing.
beautiful area, nice quiet campsite, very clean. rather near to the main road through gartocharn, but its not a very busy road. the only real draw back was that the owners are very strict on what time you leave the site, you have to vacate your place before dinnertime or pay for an extra night, and yes they do come round and remind you that you are running out of time to pack! over all though very nice site.
