This is my 3rd stay at this campsite and yet again it was amazing. We stayed in a Posh Pod which was one of the most comfortable sleeps I have ever had. I think the quietness probably helped. The campsite was immaculate as usual with the grass areas all striped like a lawn and plenty of flowering bushes. Like staying in someone's garden really. The toilets were spotless and the vanity shower room is a great idea where you have a shower, basin and loo all in one room with plenty of space to get changed. Oh and plenty of hooks. The freebies such as shampoo, hand creams and the like are great and you feel pampered after you go for your shower. Can't praise the owners enough. Met a nice German couple who said they have been travelling all over Europe for 20 years and this campsite was the best and cleanest they had ever stayed on. High praise indeed but I can see why they would think that. Well done Jan and Craig for raising the bar yet again. If you have a dog there is no charge and plenty of walks in the area. We particularly liked Keils Den which is a Woodland Trust wood next the campsite and is great for walks. Plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area and some are dog friendly which helps.
