We've just returned from a fabulous weekend camping at Faerie Thyme. This is the best campsite I've ever stayed at! The welcome was lovely and Irene and Wish were on hand throughout if we needed anything.
Our woodland pitch, The Ashes, was just brilliant, secluded, tranquil, overlooking the rest of the site. The site is lovely at any time but when the night comes and all the fairy lights and solar lamps come on it's just magical.
The Honesty Shop is great, providing logs, bread, jams and chutneys as well as local meats, eggs and the campsite must-have, marshmallows. :)
We will definitely be back!
Thank you to Wish, Irene and the cats (Guinevere, Arthur and Merlin). xxx

this is the perfect site for a base for exploring the camarthenshire coast, we needed another week! wish and irene are lovely people who are passionate about what they are creating, the little details they add make this a quirky and fun place to be, as well as relaxing, would love to visit again once the extra work is finished as this does make a lie in difficult, but had a truly wonderfull time at faerie thyme, thanks you two.

Thanks Tonia, glad you enjoyed. The caravan has now finished her makeover and the work on the site has now been completed, so lie-ins are no problem, if the noise of the birds doesnt wake you up first!!! Have a look at our website to see pics of Katie the caravan in her new livery.

So glad we stumbled upon this site! We had a lovely time and unlike some of the larger sites we have been to, this was peaceful, personable, friendly, with brand new facilities and open camp fire which is a delightful campsite rareity these days. Prices were very reasonable and we particularly enjoyed the lovely woodland at the back, an ideal spot to escape and take in some fabulous views. Irene the site manager is a lovely lady and fabulous cook! Overall we found Faerie Thyme to be great value for money and an ideal base for exploring Carmarthenshire. Highly recommended.
