Our third visit to the site and it's as good as ever. The service is always first class, we even had a phone call the day before we arrived to tell us about a road closure and to suggest an alternative route.
There are 2 shower blocks, both with the local radio station playing in them. It was very wet when we went, but the shower block was always nice and clean. The shops sells basic groceries, there is also a small gym and 2 swimming pools that are for general use but can also be hired out privately. There is a small games room, info centre, putting green, play field, wi-fi and play area.
The village has 2 pubs and a post office, we had a meal in the Black Horse, next door to the site and it was great. Didn't have anything to eat in the Bell Inn, just popped in for a pint, the welcome was very warm and will certainly try it next time. The Rose Revivied pub is a must visit, it sits right on the Thames and serves amazing food. You can drive to it, but there is a nice (muddy when wet) walk so you can work up an appetite.
Witney is the nearest town where you find the usual shops etc. Oxford is great and you can catch a bus from right outside the site, much better than driving into the city as parking was very expensive.
Great site, great service, will certainly visit again.
