South Oxfordshire is one of Britain's most beautiful regions and includes 47 miles of the Royal River Thames and the rolling Chiltern Hills, one of its best known towns is Henley on Thames, famous for its annual Royal Regatta.
Those who want to venture further than the four main towns will no doubt stumble upon a host of enchanting villages, from Dorchester with its famous Abbey, to Stoke Row which is known for its Victorian Maharajah's Well and certainly not least Little Wittenham with its Wittenham Clumps nature reserve.
If you like visiting historic buildings, why not visit Blenheim Palace , the birth place of Winston Churchill and declared a World Heritage Site in 1987 and set within the parkland, sweeping lawns, formal gardens and lake all landscaped by Capability Brown.
