Information about Herefordshire

Some information about Herefordshire from Campsite Finder Online, your online guide to camping and caravanning.

From Berrington Hall and Croft Castle (both run by the National Trust) in Leominster, to Dore Abbey and Goodrich Castle. If you want to visit a real fairytale castle why not stop by Eastnor Castle in Ledbury. This Georgian Castle is dramatically situated in the Malvern Hills. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and surrounded by a deer park, arboretum and lake. The perfect place for a restful relaxing picnic.

If you enjoy architecture why not follow the Black and White Village trail, a route of approximately 40 miles which takes you past some fine examples of Black and White buildings (timber frames infilled with white lath – woven strips of wood and plaster). If you would like an audio tour of this trail, this can purchased from the Tourist Information Centre.

Herefordshire is also a haven for artists and craftmakers - textiles, ceramics, silver, wood - colours, textures and shapes of the future from makers of quality. Look out for various markets and craft fairs held throughout the year.

Ther is a New special offers card called Truffle Herefordshire you can use this to receive many offers on attractions eating out, and shops in Herefordshire. So worth having a look at the website before your visit
