Very impressed by the bell tent , the surroundings and Shane himself. Shane made a great week extra ordinary he is a fanatic host that engaged with my children and showed them how to fish
I loved the close knit community feel of the private area but also the use of the larger site facilities. We went with loads of ideas of where to visit but loved the camp site so much we spend most of our time there.the open fire was fantastic and I would definatly return ,The town centre is minites away and the butchers there offers a great priced barbecue pack :)

An amazing stay at the Wise Owl Tipi this August! The tipi delivered more than we had expected and a great time was had by all (my 2 year old especially enjoyed the freedom of being able to run around surrounded by wildlife!).
I am sure we will be back again in the future and cannot wait to see what Shane and Verna do with the place with all their ambitions and plans for the site.
Highly recommended, especially if you have never camped before and want a gentle introduction!

My husband myself and my three children had the pleasure in staying in this fabulous tipi for 4 days! WOW what a amazing experience, beautiful surroundings, BBQ, camp fires, fishing and the most amazing steam train in the distance. Our brother stayed in the yurt next to us and I must say it was the most romantic way to camp very spacious and glamourous. All family didn't want it to end.
