Our campsite offers a great night’s stay under canvas, outdoor barbecuing, star gazing and adventuring.

Roadford is the ideal campsite for fun and exploring.
During your visit you can enjoy the peaceful setting of our lake and take part in a range of outdoor pursuits with our onsite Outdoor + Active centre.

Roadford Lake is an AA graded 3 star campsite.
Onsite there are separate shower blocks, toilets, washer and tumble dryer, baby changing room and an undercover BBQ area,.
There’s a choice of electric and non-electric pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes.

Camping with the Family.
The campsite is ideal for families and anyone wanting to embrace the great outdoors. The large and open grounds ensure that there is plenty of space to set up picnics and allow children to run and play freely.
Enjoy tasty cooked lunches and superb Cornish cream teas in our licensed café, positioned next to the children’s play area, nature trails and cycle paths.

What can you do at Roadford?
Participate in a range of activities and explore the lake by kayak, bike or foot, try your hand at fly-fishing, use our hides to spot rare birds or just relax and enjoy the superb view.
Onsite is our Water Sports Centre, offering tuition and hire for windsurfing, sailing, rowing, canoeing, high ropes, archery and more.

Where can you go?
Take a day trip out of the campsite and visit Dartmoor National Park.
Stock up on food and drink as within easy reach of Roadford is the local town of Launceston.
Under one hour’s drive is Exeter, Plymouth and Cornish beach towns Newquay and Bude.

Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on the lead.
