Details

Talywerydd Touring Caravan Park & Campsite is located just under two miles from Penbryn National Trust Beach and the Ceredigion Coastal Path, Talywerydd offers a peaceful rural haven for visitors wishing to get away from it all, escape the stresses of modern-day life, wanting to relax and indulge in the slower and the quieter pursuits that our beautiful part of the Welsh coastline has to offer, such as rambling, fishing, golfing, idyllic beaches to swim or simply sunbathe. There are plenty of gardens to visit , and a bit further afield are the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, which are less than an hour away; a nearby butterfly house, Cardigan Wildlife Park and nearby Cardigan Island Coastal Park.

The site boasts magnificent sea views of Cardigan Bay and the neighbouring rolling countryside of the west Wales coast. Whatever your interests, you can end your day at Talywerydd relaxing in a comfortable deck chair with a glass of your favourite tipple, whilst you simply soak up the ambience and watch one of our amazing sunsets over Cardigan Bay.

BEACHES:
The local area is blessed with stunning beaches many with the coverted blue flag three beaches within 10 miles of the site have the award, many other local beaches have the green coast award.

The closest beach to the site is Penbryn.

Penbryn is owned by the National Trust. The beach is almost a mile in length. There is a turning circle and dropping off point at the beach edge for disabled visitors, which should be kept clear for any emergency vehicles. There's also a cafe and shop here. The walk down to the beach is either on the lane, or follow the footpath signs from the back of the car park [behind the cafe] which takes you into a beautiful wooded valley, full of wood anenomes in the spring. This shady path suddenly opens up to the wide expanse of the beach and the sound of the waves, a lovely approach to the beach.

Llangrannog is a popular beach year round, the gentle sloping beach make it very popular with families. The beach is overlooked by some lovely local pubs and cafes ideal for just sitting and watching the world go by.

Tresaith is in a small secluded sheltered bay and gets its name from the river Saith that cascades over the cliffs as a waterfall, the beach is very popular with families during the summer, there is a pub with lots of outside seating to enjoy the views out over the sea.
