Details

The towns of Talgarth, Hay-on-Wye, Brecon, Crickhowell and Abergavenny are within easy driving distance of the campsite.

Primrose Earth Centre, a thriving organic fruit and vegetable farm, is close by in the village of Felindre.

The farm supplies produce to the local community through Hay market every Thursday.
The farm also supplies hotels and restaurants.

Primrose Earth Centre hosts a large mature forest garden in which can be found almost a hundred varieties of fruit and nut trees.
You can buy your fresh fruit and vegetables directly from the farm.

Ordnance Survey Explorer Map OL13 grid reference SO 19441 36814
Latitude: 52.023871 Longitude: -3.1754833

The area is suitable for bronze, silver and gold Duke of Edinburgh groups, either training, practice or qualifying expeditions.

There is direct access from the campsite to the Black Mountains and the NCN8 Taff Trail cycle route.
There are also activity centres nearby.

Newcourt is a safe, clean and 'away from it all' site with toilets, showers and pot wash up area with hot water.

We can accommodate several groups at a time and are large enough for supervisors to pitch up away from groups if preferred.

Newcourt is pleased to welcome Duke of Edinburgh groups as well as scouts, guides, church groups, cadets and schools.

Groups that have stayed with us have come from Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Hampshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, South Wales, Surrey, Sussex, Warwickshire and Worcestershire and regularly return.

This site at Felindre is fabulous if you like a camp site without all the shops/games rooms etc. Views incredible. David the owner unobtrusive but very helpful if needed. All I could have wanted for 4 nights - hard to leave.

I cannot give an accurate review for now as I have not visited the site for around 35 yrs but OMG had some wonderful times here when we were kids. Dicky Minter was the Pony Trekk leader and we stayed on the campsite and went trekking for the week.

I thanks Newcourt Farm at Velindre for such wonderful memories
