Details

A family owned and run delightful touring park nestling in the heart of the Cheshire countryside surrounded by farmers fields with a view across to extensive woodland. A Quality in Tourism 5 star site. On-site metalled roads lead to the 23 all-weather pitches and 12 grass pitches that have hardstanding for the caravan tyres and electric hook-ups for all. Dog walking and play area for ball games is in the adjacent 6.5 acre camping/rally field.

The award winning, environmentally friendly toilet block has free showers, constant hot water and underfloor heating. The Park reception has a large selection of leaflets and brochures featuring local places of interest that cater for all tastes.
There is a shop on site selling the basic grocery and non food items as well as soft drinks and locally made ice cream. We are also a Calor Gas retailer.

400 yards from the site entrance is the Shrewsbury Arms public house that serves good food and ales.
Bed and Breakfast accommodation is also available within the main house.

Elm Cottage is an ideal base to explore from.
Oulton Park racing circuit is only a mile away with its comprehensive programme of events throughout the year.
Historic Chester is only 12 miles west; the North Wales coast and Snowdonia, Peak District, Liverpool and Manchester are all within easy reach, plus all the other more local places of interest.

This five star touring park is exactly what is says on the tin. I am sat watching Chris the owner working hard adding more ‘hard standing pitches’ to this already great park.

The layout is roomy and not overcrowded.

There is under floor heating in the toilets and free hot showers a laundrette, two dishwashing areas, chemical disposal point and fresh water.

The rally field can accommodate large rallies and campers. There are some electric points for campers too.

On a Friday and Saturday there is a Fish and Chip van which I am eagerly awaiting.

The owners are owl lovers and have a great Avery with Striped Owls and Eagle Owls etc please view the video.

Dogs are welcome and offer a great exercise area around the rally field.

Winsford is a short distance away about 4 miles. I nice little town with a shopping centre that stocks all the essentials and more that you will need whilst on your stay.

Delemere Forest a a great visit if you enjoy walking and has a large lake giving a home to all types of wildlife and birds.

The Shrewsbury Arms is a short walk from the site and the food offered is to a very high standard.

All in all a great Park, immaculately clean and tidy, very well run and staff are helpful and friendly not cheap but you pay for what you get.

I cannot recommend this site and location enough.
