Argoed Meadow Caravan and Camping Site is situated on the banks of the River Teifi, just 200 yards from the famous 'Salmon Leap Waterfalls' at Cenarth, this small, exclusive caravan and camping site is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

It also has the benefit of being within easy reach of the coast and other attractions. This friendly Tourist Board Graded site is owned and run by Rita and Alun Owens, so you can be assured of a personal service.

Argoed Meadow has a brand new purpose built toilet and shower block with facilities for disabled persons. There is also a laundry room equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board and a freezer. Within the laundry room there is a BT pay phone. Electric hook-up (16 amp) is available and there is also a disposal area for chemical toilet waste located on site. All these facilities are cleaned and inspected two or three times each day, to ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained to be enjoyed by all. We are 'Loo of the Year' Award Winners in 2004 and 2005.
Awarded 3 Pennants by the AA and 4 stars by the Wales Tourist Board. A 4 star rating means: 'Excellent quality will be found at this level. You can expect careful attention to detail in the provision of all services and facilities. Four star Parks rank among the industry's best.'

Within the new development of the site, a limited number of brand new static holiday homes are on sale. Have you ever considered buying a holiday home to make the most of your free time, and have the freedom of knowing you can enjoy a break, whatever and as often as you like, the lifestyle you have always dreamed of? These superb homes can be adapted by the manufacturer to meet any specific requirements and provide luxurious home from home accommodation.

From the South and South East, the M4 links to Camarthen, from where you travel north on the A484 signposted for Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan. At Newcastle Emlyn proceed towards Cenarth.

Nice campsite, good toilet facilities, however, the constant noise from tractors working in the same field as the campsite is distracting Friday they finish 11pm and started again 7am. The tractors also drive quickly around the site which could be dangerous.. Overall a decent site but noisy

Reply by Argoed Meadow Caravan & Camping Site:

Sorry to hear about your bad experience here. We are a very quiet site, therefore can I just say that the farm is half a mile away from the campsite and we would never work a tractor in the camping field and definitely never at the times stated above.

This is a beautiful site right on the bank of the river. The pitches are level and there's two pubs nearby that both do food. alun and rita the owners keep the place immaculate and the toilet facilities are 5 star. the prices are also very good .
